Expiry dates and exchanges

Expiry dates for integrated tickets from 2019

All tickets purchased in 2019 may be used until their corresponding expiry dates. 

Unused tickets purchased in 2019 can be exchanged for the equivalent tickets of the year in course, providing the user pays the corresponding difference in price. Under no circumstance whatsoever will an exchange give rise to the return of money. The deadline for exchanges at the transport operator customer service centres has been extended to September 30.


The Customer Attention Centres for exchanging unused 2019 passes are as follows:

  • TMB: Diagonal (L3, L5), La Sagrera (L1, L5, L9 Nord, L10 Nord) and Universitat (L1, L2) stations.
  • FGC: Pl. Catalunya and Pl. Espanya stations.
  • Rodalies de Catalunya: Pl. Catalunya station.
  • Tram: Citizens’ Information Office, Port-Fòrum (T4, T6) and Bon Viatge (T1, T2) stops.
  • Bus stations:

Exchanging integrated tickets

The ATM will exchange any tickets that do not work as a result of the malfunction of the validation systems.

Nevertheless, there will be no right to exchange or compensation for any tickets in the following circumstances:

  • Transport cards that have been mishandled by the user.
  • Partially used expired transport cards.
  • Partially used valid transport cards.
  • Lost or stolen transport cards (including personalised cards).
