All integrated tickets acquired in 2016 exceptionally may be used until 31 December 2017.

Exchanging integrated tickets

Transport tickets that do not work due to a fault in the validation machines can be exchanged..

However, the following situations do not entitle the ticket holder to any exchange or refund:

  • Tickets damaged by passengers.
  • Expired or partially used tickets.
  • Lost or stolen tickets (including personalised travel cards).

Points of sale

Tickets can be bought at stations for the underground, tram, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya and Rodalies de Catalunya, at inter-urban bus stations, at the customer service offices of integrated transport companies, at ServiCaixa terminals, at tobacconists and pools and lottery kiosks, at newsagent kiosks and other associated establishments.

To acquire discounted FM/FN transport tickets you need to present the following certifying documents (originals and valid) at the point of sale:

  • Identity card, residence card or passport.
  • The single parent or large family card (family or individual card) issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya or the large family card issued by any other autonomous community.

At the time of sale, the customer service centre will note down, on the transport card, the number of the identity card, residence card or passport of the holder and the number of the card for the single parent or large family.

Both when buying the transport card and when first stamping it, those benefitting from the discount must have a valid document proving their identity (the holder's identity card, residence card or passport) and the document certifying they are a member of a single parent or large family of a general or special category.

Even if you stop being a member of a single parent or large family of a general or special category, you can continue to use the FM/FN transport card provided the documentation is verified that certifies you were a member at the time of buying and first stamping the ticket.
